Re: KK - He is calling me down
I cap it PF. Even an unusually tight player has a range that makes it worth capping, IMO.
Post-flop I play the same and figure I'm ahead all the way. My guess is he had you beat but was terrified and missed out on several bets. |

Re: KK - He is calling me down
I cap this preflop and lead the flop.
You can't fold anywhere and I think one way or the other you want to get a bet in on all streets. |

PF: I just call, as i consider his 3-betting range as small. Flop: I would fold to a 3-bet right here. Turn: I want AK/JJ/TT to fold and AQ/KQ to pay.. No raise, no set ? River: Nothing changed. [/ QUOTE ] pf: So what if his 3-betting range is small? You're still ahead of it, and you leave money on the table by not capping. flop: With that aggression? So, you don't think there's any way he's holding AQs? turn: Why in the name of Shania do you want AK/JJ/TT to fold? river: Whatever. You played the hand fine, but your thought process is highly suspect. Throughout this hand you should have been thinking, "Equity edge, bet for value." Don't post the results. Villan had AA and you scared him into calling down but you lost. Yes, he probably misplayed his hand, but we don't know what kind of read he had on YOU over those 150 hands. Edit: Sorry, I mistyped. You played the hand fine postflop, given your questionable preflop play. You should have capped pf and led all the way. |

Re: KK - He is calling me down
cap PF, postflop is standard.
PF - yes, his 3bet range is small/smallish, but it is not just AA. |

I am wondering if villain missplayed this hand. [/ QUOTE ] I think there's almost no chance a 0.10/0.20 would ever misplay a hand. That's why the game is unexploitable. Aside from not capping pf, you lucked into playing this basically right. Because thinking you should fold to a flop 3-bet from your opponent, for example, is lol terrible. |

"He is calling me down"
I'd say that's a positive problem to have. To the actual hand, cap it pf and take it from there. |

Flop: I would fold to a 3-bet right here. [/ QUOTE ] Please don't!!!!!! You played the hand fine, except pf that I think u need to cap. Do you really want JJ to fold on the turn? Think about how many outs JJ has. What would he do if he new ur hand? What do u prefer: him making a correct fold, or him making a bad call? Just checking so you have understood this concept because it's pretty important. |

Re: KK - He is calling me down
I understand it ! This was more like "I want them to fold because if the guy is calling he might have me beat". (Also i hate to loose against this kind of player.)
I guess my real problem with this hand is that different villains showed me AA here, and i kept betting as if i had the nuts. |

Re: KK - He is calling me down
Grunch:
With KK I'm capping preflop. Lead flop and go from there. And, if he keeps just calling, I'm going to keep betting. Doc |
