Stars $10+1 line check
Hi, I just started playing Stars $10~$1 SNGs and feel they are quite soft. I know to play really tight in early levels but try to find exactly where to draw the line between folding and continuing on a hand. All input welcome...

Re: Stars $10+1 line check
just call preflop with AJ.
As played opponents are really moronic with 50 ->100 raise so got to call that given the odds. |

Re: Stars $10+1 line check
I'm putting the player on JQ, or Q 10 both of which beat you.
Preflop seems fine. Flop, I'm not sure what the hell BB and MP2 are doing with their donk bets. BB puts in 50 then folds. MP2 then calls your raise indicating strength (any reads on this player?). By the turn I really doubt he's bluffing at this point. I'm not sure what your beating. It could be a split with both having AJ. AS played I think I'd maybe fold turn (nitty?) but to avoid that problem I'd have shoved flop probably. There's already 850 by the time it gets to you and you're left with 1355. I don't post much advice so some feedback on what I just said would be nice |

Re: Stars $10+1 line check
You're joking?
Folding preflop with AJ on button with no prior raise and one limper? Could you get any more nitty? Or am I missing something really advanced or something? :/ |

Re: Stars $10+1 line check
I'm a huge nit early. If you start limping AJo here, why not just open limp 22 or ATs. I really don't like to spew chips early.

Re: Stars $10+1 line check
Actually I think openlimping with 22 is fine due to the great playabilitaah.
AT and AJ.. well you have to play really careful postflop making good folds - I don't like it this early, esp. when playing 6+ tables. |

Re: Stars $10+1 line check
he didn't limp though he raised with what was probably the best hand preflop.

Re: Stars $10+1 line check
fold or limp pf are > raising. as played you might as well push that flop, the pot is big enough.

Re: Stars $10+1 line check
I'm limping preflop. If you raise with AJ preflop and somebody calls you probably are behind. Weird flop action though. If I decide to continue playing on the flop I'm pushing all-in with the pot size pretty decent. As played though I would fold the flop. He limps/calls raise preflop; min-raises/calls flop bet; and pushes turn. I dont think tptk is good here.
