Re: (10NL) QQ, A flop, family pot
You don't need to worry about UTG+1 he probably called with a small pair. CO could also be raising a broad range of hands. The coldcall of the BB is suspicious though, he could just be calling with AK or AQ. I think the merits of checking are highest, you don't loose any weaker hands + you have 2 outs to what probably is the nuts and if a heart comes you have a redraw to a hand that still could be the best. By betting out you take the pot if nobody has an ace, but you force weaker hands out + you risk beiing reraised by a FD or an ace and then you probably have to fold. The question is is it worth to bet here to protect against potential FD's?

Normally, you have to c-bet here. But with 3 callers, I'd probably chicken out.
If you're going to bet, I think $1.50 would be fine. It looks like you're begging for a call. |

[/ QUOTE ] If you cbet, you want to make a standard cbet. I never ever make a 1.5$ cbet into a 4$ pot, not with the nuts and not with a missed flop. This is a very good flop to cbet in a headsup or 3-way situation because people very often put you on an ace when you raise preflop (and they are not likely to have hit this flop) but in a 4-way pot I'd like to see some PT stats to determine a raise or check behind. I go for the check behind most of the times in a multiway pot like this though. (edit:I thought this was 50NL. At 10NL I check this behind) |
