Best time of day to find the fish online
hi, I am from the UK, when would you say is the "fishiest" time of day to play? I normally play afternoons and evenings and I have observed that as the day goes on Poker Stars gets busier and fishier.
It's 11pm UK time right now and I have logged on and I am amazed how fishier it seems. As a Uk player am I missing out by not staying up later to take advantage of more fish? Or is it in my mind... |

Re: Best time of day to find the fish online
I notice the same thing here in the U.S. It seems as night falls that the play is much worse (say from 9-12). After about 1 AM the number of players drops off dramatically.

Unless you are one of the lucky few that can play anytime does it really matter. Most people have to fit poker into their lives not their lives into poker.

Re: Best time of day to find the fish online
I tend to play a couple of hours a day at 7am and sometimes at 9pm UK time and find that I win much more in the morning sessions. On partypoker the Canadians seem to be very tired and loose, the Europeans are just waking up.

Re: Best time of day to find the fish online
I am in UK and I am amazed at the difference. The best time to play is definately after 9pm or anytime at weekends. You only have to look at the % players per flop to prove this.

Re: Best time of day to find the fish online
In Europe, the best time to find fish is between 6 and 9 am (GMT+1 Paris). There's a lot of tired US players at this time.
