Re: UFC 66
I'm sure I'll have plenty more to say about this in the next couple of days, but the first line to jump out at me is Jardine at +281. Forrest is good but very overrated by the TUF fans.

Re: UFC 66
Hmmm this looks like it has a lot of potential for profit.
Anyone else thinking the Bisping v Schafer line is way off? Only seen Bisping fight, which I was not extremely impressed with, but both seem to have similar records of merely rolling over second rate fighters. Would love to hear someone with more intimate knowledge on these fighters weigh in on it. |

[/ QUOTE ] I've never been impressed by Jardine and don't think he has the skills to beat Forrest. I think Forrest is at least a step above Jardine. Jardine lost to Stephan Bonnar who hasn't grown as a fighter since his lost to Forrest. I haven't gone back and looked at the second Forrest-Bonnar fight or the Bonnar-Jardine fight but I think it is going to show Jardine is not close to the skills Forrest has. Who has Forrest been training with? What about Jardine? Anyone know? |

I'm not sure where Griffin has been training. Anyways, the line that suprised me the most is Bisping/Schafer. Bisping is coming off a long layoff, and has never really been tested, yet is a huge favorite against a guy with a significant edge in the ground game. Yes, Bisping has a good sprawl, but Schafer is a kind of guy who can submit someone from any position (as shown vs. MacDonald on the Liddell/Babalu card). Bisping should probably be the favorite, but if he wasnt a TUF star, this would be a much much closer line. Alot of value on Schafer, IMO. |
