Settle A Debate.
Hello all, just having a dispute with a friend of mine, and the more I think about it the more I doubt my thoughts. He says that you can beat any limit game from 1-2 to 3-6 and maybe even 5-10 whether its full ring or 6 handed by playing only the following hands:
AA-KK-QQ-JJ-1010 AKs AK AQs AQ AJs A10s I was thinking that this may be possible for full ring but am skeptical on whether or not it would work in 6 handed. Thanks |

Re: Settle A Debate.
This is the wrong forum for this question as Medium Stakes deals with LHE >= 10/20...
Whether or not your friend is "right" is irrelevant. Playing only those hands would minimize the possible gains from games that are characterized by loose passive play pre-flop and people who call down with weak hands/bad draws post flop. I would play a much wider range of hands pre-flop especially in later positions, and of course, the blinds. SSHE by Ed Miller would be a good starting place. |
