($27) 88 makes a straight on the turn
No reads on these guys, it's like 5th hand or something. What's your river move? Flop call is OK with an overpair and a gutshot, right?

Re: ($27) 88 makes a straight on the turn
Flop call is very standard, I would even raise it in some of the 6mans I play (prolly not great in this spot). Def bet the river here.

Re: ($27) 88 makes a straight on the turn
I'd hate to be raised on the river so I probably just check it.

Re: ($27) 88 makes a straight on the turn
I raise the flop! His most likely holding is a lower pair or a draw.
I bet the river as well, something around t300 |

Re: ($27) 88 makes a straight on the turn
Id hate to be raised but that doesn't mean valuebetting is less ev then checking. Anyway after raise id call and laugh at donk set line if he really had it.

Re: ($27) 88 makes a straight on the turn
You need to make a valuebet here.
If you get check-raised, it gets ugly, but it's still worth the risk. |
