Default Sammy Sosa

I was a big Sosa fan when he played in Chicago... and I still have a soft spot for him. I hope he continues to do well. I haven't actually seen any of his recent play, does he have his swing back? the hop? is he back?

4 HRs in his last 7 games. He's starting to mash. Not sure if it'll last though.

Steroids or no steroids, it takes a great swing to hit 600 HRs

His last homers were off Josh Towers and Paul Byrd. His BB:K ratio is 5:15. Right now, he is very motivated by the chase for 600. Let's see how he looks in June when the Rangers are 10 games under .500.

I like how he still does the hop when he hits one when his team is down 7.

More people care about sosa than they do about the baseball rangers so it's all good anyway.

Albeit they both used da drugz and even though Sammy stuck that bat full of cork, I'd 100% of the time root for him over Bonds if they were racing for Aaron's record. I'm a Sam fan and I really hope he pumps out something like 30+ HR this year.

So not only is he probably a steroid user (and an awful liar in front of Congress), but he was caught IN GAME of cheating yet you find it in yourself to forgive him and not Barry Bonds?

[censored] Sammy Sosa. I hope his OBP falls below the Mendoza Line.

I never said anything about forgiving one player or the other. Sosa just puts on a much nicer front than Bonds. And don't give me that crap that it's all the media's fault for Bonds having the image (forgetting about steroids for a second) that he does.
