Default My first poker vid. Yay!

So I made a 2-table 2/4 video... and it's my first one... and there's no sound...

Here it is.

I switched over to Full Tilt recently (for RB + boni) and haven't been running well, and the games seem rockier than on Poker Stars, so I'm playing TAG for now. I'm also conciously trying to defend my blinds less. Please tell me how I did.

I was going to make it short (15-20 mins) but there was so little action during the mid-part that I extended it to 30 mins to get a few more decisions in.

You might get a few more viewers if you make the file smaller.. half a gig is kinda huge.

I had a look at it, but it was a waste of time. You should rater post hands and ask specific question rather than boring videos without commentary. From what I have seen you seem to be rater weak tight and need to put in more agression preflop and on the flop. I guess you should have:
Put in an continuation bet after that A6s preflop raise. 3 bet the button stealer fom the small blind with QTs. Raised the small blind limper when you had A9o on the button. Btw.: Any good B&M games in Reykjavik?

Is 3 betting from the SB with QTs standard?

You will probably have slightly less than 50% showdown equity against most oppontents raising from the button. About 48% I would guess. But thats enough for a reraise since QTs has good playability against a button raisers range, the big blind will fold fairly often and you got your live blind.

I think I gave fair warning regarding the "no sound" and "boring" parts of the video.

I also mentioned I was conciously trying to tighten up because I've been running bad and am trying to plug any leaks I have.

Probably good points, thought I believe I was OOP vs 2 players in the A6s hand, with no draw except an Ace. I really think that c-betting oop into more than 1 opponent with 3 outs is -EV.

I play in 2 regular games. One is an unraked full ring 3/6 LHE game at a local genetic research company, that is very soft, but it's invitation only. The second one is 1/2 NL at an underground poker club (casinos are illegal) that rakes 10% when you buy in and then 10% of any profit when you cash out.

There are some other underground cash games with higher stakes, but I've never participated in them. And some tournaments once in a while (about 50 ppl, $60 buyin, 10% rake).

No,you were in postion, since you raised the limper from the button or the cutoff and BB called. Flop came KTx. Blind checked, limper checked and you checked behind. Betting here as a pure bluff has only to work 1 out of 7 times + you got 3 outs to improve. Not to mention that it is fairly likely that your A high is best. So you lost quite some value in that spot and if this is your standard play, it is a major leak. Easy bet!

You are talking about Decode. Is Kári playing? What does it take to get invited? I am studying Biochemistry at HI, taking courses in molecular biology and work at Aksja doing research on the expression of antimicrobial peptides.

Touche. I guess that having a won at SD% of 45% over 5k hands while only going to showdown 31% makes you kinda weak tight.

One thing that stood out to me was two hands against the same villain, where he opencompleted his SB against your BB, and you check with A3 and A9, and then let him bet you off your hands on either flop or turn on some pretty safe boards (one you just folded the flop, and the other one you called flop and folded turn).
