I would probably fold this preflop in a SNG, but understand you might have to open up a little in 6-max games. Let the other players knock each other out with questionable hands like K9.
If you're going to raise, I would make it 120-150. Flop / turn / river all look good. |

You raised a very marginal hand that seldom flops well, managed to flop the 2nd nuts with a 2nd nut redraw, and had a guy push into you. I know you need to open up a little bit 6-max but do it with a hand that doesnt put you in bad situations on the flop, ie when the flop comes KT4 and you have no idea if your K is good. As is, i doubt you could have misplayed this hand, as it would appear villian was drawing to a flush or open ended and caught it. Im not sure what there is to critique... way to get pushed into, hope he doesnt have the A high flush and if he does, it furthers the validity of not creating a raised pot with a poor flopping hand like K9s.

Thanks for the advice so far. What you guys have said was really my only critique of myself, which was getting involved in the hand in the first place. I was basically trying to take control of a limped pot in position with a marginal hand. I put my opponent on those exact hands and I thought the king was most likely as he had played it and he didn't want to make a decision if I had a flush or not to my bet on the river.

Turrbo fold preflop, bet more on flop, bet more on turn.

I only raise this preflop if UTG+1 has been limping a lot, like >50% VPIP. Overall, meh... maybe bet more on the flop into two players but nothing you did postflop was all that bad.

I don't like, hate preflop, but anyway... preflop is reasonably fine, I might bet a little more on both the flop and the turn.

Raise PF with MP limper I'm not too fond of, pot flop, pot turn, call river, WP NH.
