TP on monotone flop
No stats on villain, but I did see him pfr with AA, and then cr flop, got rai, and called on a Q86 rainbow flop.
My table image has been very TAG, only had to showdown once, which I won. Would you guys double barrel this turn? Would you push on the river? or b/f? or c/f? Re: TP on monotone flop
Why would you c/c river when the flush hits and all you have is top pair? If youre going to get some money in on this river, you might as well b/f, but I like c/f the most by far.

Re: TP on monotone flop
Yep, that was my mistake there. Guess I was kinda curious to villain's holdings. Thanks profish for pointing that out.
Any thoughts on turn action? |

Re: TP on monotone flop
why would you push on the flop, turn, or river? this is not the hand to do anything of the sort.
you cant count 1 of your 10's since it'll drop another spade. And since you've posted the hand results, MP1 is not moving off that A with a Qhigh flush draw, he is going to check and call, or as he did on flop and turn, and when you check the river, you're basically giving up. I wouldnt have fired on the river either, 4 spades is too dangerous. I think you played fine on flop and turn, maybe could have bet the pot on the turn, but knowing MP1's hand, he probably still wouldnt have folded. but i really dont think this is a push situation. |
