\"Bit sleazy in the Big Easy\"
From http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/.
Who would have guessed a conservative bible thumper would be the first one out on the DC madam list. How many times does it take to get a listing in the black book, I wonder. I have sympathy for his family, but this guy runs on family values, criticizes liberal Hollywood and all that. Check out the Tony Snow video also, see who is more sleazy, its a tough call. Those Iraqi benchmarks he says will be a mix-bag...not really, reports confirm that not a damn one has been met. |

Re: \"Bit sleazy in the Big Easy\"
Considering this is the state that gave us the infamous David Duke vs. Edwin Edwards gubenatorial race, this might not cause a big controversy. In all seriousness..yeah, this looks really bad. If you are going to campaign on family values, you really shouldn't bang hookers.

Who would have guessed a conservative bible thumper would be the first one out on the DC madam list. [/ QUOTE ] Not me. Totally shocked. Remember, though, heterosexual marriage is the cornerstone of American family life and is a cherished and respected institution that teh gayz and Hollywood liberals just won't stop attacking. Vote GOP '08 if you want to "protect" marriage. |

Re: \"Bit sleazy in the Big Easy\"
The hilarious thing is, Debroah Jean Palfrey's DC Madame ring isn't even the first prostitution scandal Vitter is rumored to be involved in:
http://www.politicsla.com/columns/Ti...side_track.htm "Vincent Bruno, secretary of the Republican Party of Jefferson Parish and a member of the RSCC, alleged that Congressman David Vitter had engaged in an extramarital affair. In what was a high-stakes political battle between some of the most prominent members of the Louisiana Republican Party, Bruno charged that a prostitute, who stated her name to be Wendy Cortez, allegedly confessed to him to having a paid sexual relationship with Vitter. Three separate and independent sources, including WDSU-TV reporter Richard Angelico, confirmed Bruno's allegation. Each had spoken to Cortez personally, and she recounted to them the details of her alleged affair with Vitter." |

Do as I say, not as I do. |

[/ QUOTE ] Senator's Number on Escort Service List "This was a very serious sin in my past for which I am, of course, completely responsible," Vitter said in the statement. "Several years ago, I asked for and received forgiveness from God and my wife in confession and marriage counseling. Out of respect for my family, I will keep my discussion of the matter there - with God and them. But I certainly offer my deep and sincere apologies to all I have disappointed and let down in any way." So he apologizes for something that he did in the past (don't know when he started lighting into hollywood), asks for forgiveness, and admits he acted inappropriately and that's apparently not good enough for you. Also I'm sure you'd be fine with it if he was on the left because [sarcasm]we know that liberals are never hypocrites.[/sarcasm] [ QUOTE ] Check out the Tony Snow video also, see who is more sleazy, its a tough call.
