Default Defend against PartyPoker - mass mail revolt (PLEASE HELP)

Hello guys,
this threat is for all people who changed their affiliate in the past 8-9 months (since Septembre 2006).

I think you are pissed off (like me).
First I thought „wow partypoker is making a real improvement with the new partypoints system“, but then… the horrible news:

If you closed your old account to make a new one to recieve the unmentionable since Septembre 2006, your (new) affiliate won’t recieve any more money from partypoker. They still have to pay back the money what they get since September. So their affiliate account shows a negative balance!
That means that you won’t (!) recieve the unmentionable for May2007 and won’t (!) receive it in the future anymore!!!

Look at this share price:
http://finance.google.com/finance?q=LON:PRTY
So party gets to keep all the money they owe their affiliates AND their share price gets a substantial boost.... ITS A DOUBLE WIN .....

I think there are many other players who are also not very happy with this situation. My affiliate told me not to play at partypoker the next days until the problem is solved
But what can we do? One player alone will not achieve anyting at all…

So here is my suggestion:

All players here who read that and are also very unhappy with the situation, should not anymore play at partypoker for the next days…

1.) Cashout (all) your money

2.) Write an email to partypoker (i.e.):

„Dear Sirs,

I’m following the happennigs of the last days very interested. I’m not very happy how you are handling your affiliates. Do you really think by this way PartyPoker will become again the biggest pokerroom?

So I haved cashed out all of my money and I will NOT make a deposit again as long as my affiliate have not been paid.

I just checked my PokerTracker-Stats which showed that I have created about $ XXXX rake in the last month (May 2007).
I really do think an other pokerroom will invest this money in better features for their players as partypoker will…

With best regards
xxx „

Perhapse we can achieve something when there are enough people doing same as me: first cashout, then send an e-mail to partypoker. And would be nice if you can tell your friends about this too…
Thank you for your help

Perhaps someone can create a counter (like a voting) where we can see how many people already cashed out and send an e-mail….

Have a nice day

Er....isn't their reply going to be, "We don't allow rakeback, so what's your problem."

Okay, you guys are just way off here. You need to realize you have absolutely no ground to stand on.

To the OP, the introductory statement in your message is simple enough to discredit your request.

First of all, Party Poker does not "allow" you to "switch affiliates" The purpose of their affiliate program is to recruit NEW players for the first time. Consider yourself lucky that you have been able to get any unmentionable or whatever for this long, especially if you have made multiple accounts in trying to achieve said unmentionable.

When you first discovered the unmentionable, you most likely found a way to make another account. Well, guess what, you left some other affiliate in the dust when you did that and all of the sudden they werent making money anymore.

Party is doing nothing more than actually enforcing the terms and conditions that affiliates agree to when they decide to start promoting for party.

I am sorry but you dont have the right or the privelage to just keep "switching" affiliates and making fraudulent second or third accounts so that you can recieve the unmentionable.

Now, I will state where I dont agree with what party is doing:

Are they going to track said players back to their original affilaites and pay them back pay for whatever amount of time that they were with the other affiliate?? I highly doubt it, and it seems perfectly in line with how they operate.

Anyways, not trying to derail the train, but basically what you are doing is breaking the law, and trying to explain to the policemen your innocent while the gun is in your hand.

And yes, mentioning anything to party about how you were recieving rakeback would certainly not help the already dire situation!

Basically anytime you agreed to receive unmentionable from an affiliate, you should of realized that it was a delicate situation and could go away at any time. They simply do not like or want the unmentionable and it will always be a pain in that ass and risky at best to try and get.

The post above is correct, what is going to happen is that the new affiliate will lose the rev share and the old affiliate will get nothing. Win/win for Party. No way Party goes back and says "Old affiliate someone stole your player, here is the back pay from that player".

Irionic isn't it? Party should shut itself down for fraud traffic since they have stolen accounts from the original affiliates.
