3r, JTs, relatively SS in hijack
Several of the books I've read say I should do this because I am short-stacked relative to the blinds and antes. I was just moved to this table, so no reads. What do you guys think?
ante is 600, so pot is 13,800 PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t6000 (8 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) UTG+1 (t130461) MP1 (t272500) Hero (t75785) CO (t158500) Button (t157214) SB (t81131) BB (t159359) UTG (t136082) Preflop: Hero is MP2 with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 3 folds, Hero raises to t75185 |

You aren't quite desparate yet. I understand the push but I probably wait for a better spot.

Re: 3r, JTs, relatively SS in hijack
Hard to let this go. Factor in your image and table considerations may sway to a fold; in a vacuum, push is OK. I've grown accostomed to letting go of 109, J10, QJ with 5 people to act and an M of about 6. With 4 people, it's closer.

Are we pushing JJ+ here also, or making a standard raise?
