Default Is this wrong to do to a person, or completely standard? (NSFW)

Possibly the language is NSFW?

The gentleman in question was a guest at my friend's place. We were playing some drinking games and this individual decided that he would pass out on the couch instead of continuing to drink, despite the fact that we had barely killed 30 beers and it was early (3am EST approximately). Is this acceptable, should I/we feel bad? In addition to these pictures, he had a bit of maple syrup poured on his face and also some BBQ sauce (not by me, although I did not discourage it). His hands were placed in a bowl of warm water per the usual. He ended up leaving in quite a huff, apparently upset at the treatment he received after passing out with shoes still on. Where I come from, shoes on = fair game, so I ask you OOT... should my friend and I apologize for this, or should this sally learn to drink like a man?

This is after playing the Pyramid Game suggested in this thread

this kid punked out early and decided that he had to sleep... bad move sir

If I passed out on my friends like that and DIDN'T wake up with stuff written on my face, I would be disappointed in them for missing a good opportunity.

I seem to be going against the crowd on this one. but whatever, flame away.

anyone who engages in this kind of activity is a little bitch imo. it's very stupid and very mean. fundamentally it is just deriving pleasure from someone else's pain. if you like that kind of stuff, then you are probably an [censored].

for the record, i don't have an ax to grind on this one. I have never done something like this and i don't associate with [censored] so its never been done to me.

wow, I bet you are fun to hang out with on the weekends.

OP,

like everyone is saying, this dude got off light. You don't passout with a bunch of drunk people and not expect to get [censored] with, thats just the way life goes. The guy is a little girl for getting all bent about it.

Also, to all the warm water remarks. I thought that was just an urban legend, I have never seen anyone piss themselves from that. Has this ever actually worked for anyone? I want first hand stories too, not "well a friend did it to this one guy once and...."

Just be careful. A guy fell out of a window here after a night of drinking and ppl thought he was just passed out so they did that. It turned out he was dead (or about to be). Creepy.

Meh, I don't feel that at all. Maybe because I had a brother who was always effing with me, I get super pissed when people eff with me or my stuff. This doesn't mean I'm not fun to hang out with, and in fact you know personally that I am a blast.

A few years ago at a bachelor party in San Diego, I left the bar early and got a cab home. The rest of the guys stayed and got liquored. Upon returning they decided they would gang up on me and drag me out to the ocean and toss me in it. So one big guy comes into my room, woke me up, and started getting a little close. I just backed into a corner and assumed a wrestling pose while telling them all that someone was going to get hurt trying to pull off whatever lame prank they had in mind. This charade persisted for a few minutes until they realized I was serious so they just went to bed. I had to stay up for awhile just to make sure they weren't going to make another run at me, though. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
