UP (Michigan) and Wisconsin Poker
Curious is anyone has tried this in the UP yet?
http://www.tpnpoker.com/ Wondering if NL will be going regularly with larger player pool. Also, how are games at Oneida (Green Bay) and Poto in Milwaukee? |

Milwaukee has a 600max 3-5 blind NL everyday.

Re: UP (Michigan) and Wisconsin Poker
I played Oneida Green Bay this past summer and had a good time but it was a pretty small setup, only two tables running, 3/6 limit and something/something NL. People were friendly (mostly regulars) and the game was easy. Poker is not at the main casino, it is at a smaller casino closer to downtown GB.

Supposed to be there version of internet poker with mich tribes for now? Also, what NL do they run on regular basis if any? I called there, but got directed to recording in poker room. |

[/ QUOTE ] When I was there a month or two ago, they were testing it and I actually played for a while with a consultant (basically some kid who plays poker and understands how it should work.) The rake structure is outrageous, or at least it was (as high as $10 for some pots). He told me he was going to try to convince them to lower it. |

Also, how are games at Oneida (Green Bay) and Poto in Milwaukee? [/ QUOTE ] Oneida generally has running one to three 3/6 LHE tables and one to two 2/5 NL tables. It's populated mostly by regulars. The LHE seems populated by players trying to avoid losing too much while hoping to hit the bad beat jackpot (which pays out shares to every player in the room who uses their players card). When I've been at the Pot they've had games from 2/4 to 6/12 LHE (with a kill). Typical super-loose passive with players sometimes check-calling down with hands you would raise with. A few tables/players can be LAG-gy with acute cases of FPS. NL starts at 3/5, but 5/10 has been seen. Some dude updates the middle limit games here. |
