Re: The Well: gobboboy
What are people's main weaknesses in limit hold'em?
I find myself not making any laydowns (always getting some kind of odds) and betting out in alot of spots on bluffs that never seem to work |

Re: The Well: gobboboy
Gobbo,
Thanks for the help that you have given me. I believe that my biggest leak is my mid-to-late game/end game where I need to play looser and more aggressive to gain some chips. What can I do to start working on that? |

Re: The Well: gobboboy
jimmy,
1) with my recent run at mtt's as of late, ive been thinking of switching my main game (from 1-2 NL and 2-4 NL) towards tournaments. any words of advice? i know you have some confidence in my abilities but any words of advice would be appreciated. 2) how do you plan on working on that emotional control? as an aside, will you phase out big omaha games, limit and PL, as a means of working on it? 3) what is the best thing to get at the emerald? 4) what is the best thing to get at Atlantis? (it will be my first time wheeee) 5) why is twisted echo such a donk? |

A lot of people's leaks come preflop. I'm not going to explain it here, but there are just lots of things you simply have to do and can't do in LHE in a full ring game preflop like you can do in a NLHE game. Then postflop they either don't call down enough or call down too much and don't get good value on their hands. It's just way too much to explain in one question. It's a completely different game, remember. It'd be like asking me "How do you play 7Stud?" It doesn't work because it's too complex. |
