77hand OMG SFDRAW
basically I'm wondering if my flop call is ok. Villian seems pretty tag, but just sat down maybe a half hour ago. he is multitabling. he views me as probably a thinking lag player, as im raising alot and have big stacks at every table.

Re: 77hand OMG SFDRAW
You don't give stack sizes here, but I'll assume effective stacks are 100BB.
I think that there is a decent chance that he could be doing this with the naked A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] He could also have a small overpair with a heart. An example equity calculation, which includes his possible sets as well as the hands mentioned above. Text results appended to pokerstove.txt 46,058,522 games 28.688 secs 1,605,497 games/sec Board: 5h 6h 8h Dead: Hand 0: 54.014% { TcTh, TdTh, ThTs, 9c9h, 9d9h, 9h9s, 88, 66-55, AhQc, AhQd, AhQs, AhJc, AhJd, AhJs } Hand 1: 45.986% { 7c7h } Which puts you just behind, but I think a call is ok, especially as he could think you are FOS on a monotone board making his range larger than that I have assigned. I think that a fold to his about 3/4 pot bet on the turn is standard. Tough spot. |

Re: 77hand OMG SFDRAW
Dory, I think you should add several flopped flush combos to that range, specifically Ahxh. Once you do that our equity should drop significantly as we are drawing dead to all those hands, and I think that makes up quite a large part of his range in this spot. I think the turn is an easy c/f in this spot.
