They preflop raise small > you flop top 2 or better

Amen. I might see the point if they were playing correctly but often the ss's are limping in, etc., playing 50% of their hands.... They are mostly morons who sorta know in the back of their minds that they are morons and don't want to get stacked. Solid shortstackers are rare.
