Re: Aces up early in 2nd chance
Why the flop check?
As played, idk, I seem to be bad @ judging how often people show up w/ strangely played stuff, like Ax/KJ/worse two pair in this spot. I prob fold tho. If he was @ all decent, I'd say it's a pretty easy fold. |

Re: Aces up early in 2nd chance
i cant see him snapping the turn with a hand that he will happily turn into a bluff on the river..think its a fold and feel fine.

Re: Aces up early in 2nd chance
this is a definate fold imo.
set or flush. but im prolly ruling out a set as 33 and 88 mostly re-raises your turn bet to protect against the appearing draws. everything points to an ace flush , maybe ace jack / ace ten spades. this is consistant with his snap turn call. smaller flushes are more unlikely as i think they dont come out betting the turn to a raisers flop. with the flop checked around, he prolly feels his top pair and nut draw are worth 400, |

Re: Aces up early in 2nd chance
i think you need to bet the flop.
from my experience the snap call (unless from a superfish) does NOT mean strength--it usually means "im too proud to fold and my hands too weak to RR. It could def. be KQ imo, but flush is in the villian's range. i probably call even though (in reality i think a fold is the right choice most times) and feel awesome if i win and beat myself up if i lose. (however, i do not play the HSMTT, i play ssmtt, just found myself browsing this forum--b/c i play the ssmtt, my thoughts may not be appropriate to this forum. |
