Re: QQ with a bunch of limps
i think about 600 is too less with 5 limpers, as even the first limper gets 1:2 pot odds, which justify a call with a wide range of hands. if the first limper calls you get a cascade of callers behind.
your goal is to get headsup with your high PP - so i'd make it about 1k here. |

Re: QQ with a bunch of limps
a stream of "yes"'s would not surprise me, but is pushing here terrible? Given this is a $2 tourney you will almost always get a caller. I know I personally have >70BB's, nowhere near a spot to push out of desperation or anything, but I'm just wondering how often a raise to 600 will get min. 4 callers at this time and at this buy in of a tourney, which sux on most flops.
Thoughts? |

[/ QUOTE ] Agree - thought general rule of thumb is 3x + limpers so that argues for t800-900 - maybe a little more to make it look like a bit of a steal so some dude with J9o looks us up. I have no problem taking this pot down without a showdown given how much is already in there but would like a caller or two. UTG and MP1 most likely to call any bet here due to stack sizes so I bet they both come along you don't want anyone else |
