During the playoffs which preceded the Pacers making the Finals, I remember hearing the media say that Reggie wasn't a HOFer. When the Pacers won the East Finals, I heard Cheryl say something like, "Now do you still think he's not a HOFer?", since Reggie not being able to carry his team to the Finals was a knock against him.

Also, name someone who was a better SG than Miller (outside MJ) in the 90s.

This pretty well exposes the entire process as fundamentally flawed.

The most obvious thing is that it severely underrates great players who didn't win a ring.

maybe our own bias for players in our era are clouding our judgments. do you see any players eligible for the HoF who aren't in it, who you think should be? how are those players ranked?

Are you serious? You think my judgment is clouded on the fact that Miller is a HOFer?

I'd wager everything I own that Reggie is a HOFer, according to this guy I ought to get at least 20-1. Absurd.

you're saying that you think this is a legitimate instrument?

chris webber rated higher than dennis rodman? back-to-back MVPs and less than a 99% chance of getting in? seems like pretty much the only way nash doesn't get in is if he ojs some people.
