I'm in a game that can best be described as wacky.
SB in this hand is pretty much unknown to me. UTG is this dude who's obviously very rich and very drunk. He's having a great time but he's been showing maniacal tendencies and is the main reason the game is so juiced up right now. Button is a pretty bad player who seems to be amped up by the drunk guy and is a little out of his mind right now. Other players in the hand all suck and don't really matter. UTG limps, UTG1 limps, UTG2 limps, I limp with red 88, CO limps, button raises, both blinds call and all limpers call. 7 ways for two bets each. Flop is 7s4c3s. Check to UTG who bets, UTG calls, UTG1 calls, UTG2folds, I call, CO folds, button calls, SB raises, BB folds, UTG 3bets saying "I've got the best hand", limpers fold, I call, CO calls, button folds, SB calls. Turn is Kd. Check, UTG bets, I raise, CO folds, SB calls, UTG calls. River is 5c. Check, check, I check. Comments on all streets appreciated. |

Flawless. I think the reasons why should be self-explanatory.

Agree that the flop or turn are perfect but the river might have value. Of course if this guy is drunk enough to c/r with air then I'd just check behind and hope its good.

[/ QUOTE ] You should have raised the first time the bet came to you. You've got a probable best hand but it's vulnerable, and you need to get the limpers out. Don't rely on drunks to do your betting for you. One other point. You just posted two hands here--in one, you bet a draw against two opponents and in the other, you passively check and call with a hand that's probably way ahead. You're doing it the wrong way round. Bet when you're ahead. |

you played this hand great on the turn, but i think you can bet the river for value or even to see bb finally fold something like TT if it's at bellagio and he's the right sort of player to fold that.
the flop is where i have an issue. i feel like you really need to raise the flop to try and give anyone willing to fold overcards the chance to do so, regardless of what you fear utg could be betting into the field with or even if you think no one will fold overs, button must have you beat, whatever. none of that matters. big pot + favorable flop + any chance at all someone will fold overs = raise. |

[/ QUOTE ] I like it pretty much as played, with the exception that I make it 4 bets on the flop. I think we have crossed that critical juncture here with pot size, where you no longer try to save bets but do everything possible to maximize your chance of winning the pot. Put as much pressure as possible on those after you to fold. |

I'll respond after the poster cleans up the hand. First he says checked to UTG who bets, then he says UTG calls. He goes on to say that CO folds, and then says CO calls. I can't determine the pot size or odds.
