Default 25NL call all-in flop reraise with flush draw?

What's our line here? I wanted to shove this on the flop but I min-raised villain and he shoved. I have absolutely no reads on villain as this is my first hand at the table.

Absolute Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.10/$0.25
8 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $26.15
UTG+1: $29.10
MP1: $12.55
MP2: $9.40
CO: $9.25
Button: $7.20
SB: $10.20
Hero: $25

Pre-flop: (8 players) Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
5 folds, Button calls, SB calls, Hero checks.

Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($0.75, 3 players)
SB bets $0.5, Hero raises to $1, Button folds, SB raises all-in $9.95, Hero ???

Comments and criticism are much appreciated.

[/ QUOTE ]I'll answer your question with a question...would you consider calling with A8 with no clubs on this flop? After you answer that you'll have your answer.

Sorry about the confusion...I was really tired when I was adding this post. Can one of the mods change "preflop" to "flop re-raise" in the subject line? Thanks in advance.

okay, you most likely have all these outs:

2 outs for 888
3 outs to make AA88
9 outs to make your flush draw

14 outs. That's > 50% to hit one of these by the end.

That means you're the favourite even if it was even money. You're getting better than even money.

You are right sir...I just ran the numbers. In fact, villain played this hand way too aggressive. He had J9o and probably feels like he was out drawn (which he was), but I don't believe he made the right play. He's only getting called by hands that already have him beat, or something like mine. Here are the number from twodimes.net:

Thanks for fixing my post subject

ps...the 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] came on the turn and I took down a big pot (tee-hee)
