bottom set on coordinated board
No real reads on either player. I feel like I should have raised the river, but should I also have raised turn when a non spade hit?

Re: bottom set on coordinated board
I would raise the turn to $8 and fold to a push. If no push comes and the river blanks, I push all-in. I don't mind just calling the flop and waiting for a safe turn card before firing, especially with two other opponents already showing some strength. It also gives you a chance to get away cheap if UTG comes back over the top and MP1 goes with him. The turn action makes me feel better about the chances of my hand being ahead.

Re: bottom set on coordinated board
If I call the flop, I'm bombing most safe turns.

Re: bottom set on coordinated board
too much calling that hand... raise it up before the flop and then put in a decent sized raise on the flop or turn to see where your at. it will make you money later in the hand or you can make a nice lay down depending on your reading ability.

Re: bottom set on coordinated board
If this was limit hold'em you could call down, but I Think you have to raise SOMEWHERE in the hand to see where you're at. Let villain push and show you his flush so you can fold or know you're set is good.
