two amusing 20-40 hands
Feel free to criticize, but these are mostly posted for amusement.
Here's the worst fold I've ever seen in a limit game that didn't involve misreading a hand: Loose fishy open raises in MP, and a good TAG isolation reraises. I have QQ on the button and I cap it. SB says "fold" but doesn't release her cards. The bb folds, and she shows him her hand, then mucks it. The flop comes something, and I bet and the two players call, then the turn comes something and I bet and they fold. At this point, the BB reveals that the SB folded... AA. WHAT?!? She FOLDED AA preflop! In a cash game! Her defense: "I knew you had to have aces there, so the best I could do was chop." Me: "Good read, I couldn't have made that fold." Yesterday, she limps after an early limper, I limp along on the button with 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], and we take a flop 6-handed. Flop is K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Checked to our friend, who bets out. A big pile of callers, and we see the turn 5-handed: 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Ding! Checked all the way to me, I bet, two callers. River is the K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], check, check, I bet, our friend check-raises. Uh oh. Other guy folds, I crying call. She turns over... any guesses? Spoiler: 33 That's pretty damn far down the list of hands I thought she could have there. In summary: I have no idea how she plays. Luckily that doesn't seem to stop me from taking her money. |

Re: two amusing 20-40 hands
Since all I can think to say is "Wow" this should probably just be in the low content thread.

Re: two amusing 20-40 hands
Yes, since there is no question or strategy to be gained from this post, the proper place is in the Low Content thread. These would be a great addition to any low content thread!
