i would think that mat mentioned this to you when you became a mod, but just in case: STFU and stop criticizing mod decisions in the public forums, especially your OWN FORUM.

There was no criticism. daryn offered his perspective on the issue, I offered mine. What's the problem?

when you say, "i'm in ash's corner on this one" and then contradict daryn's explanation as well, that's the problem. we don't undermine each other in OOT. if you don't like the decision PM the other mods.

Reading the thread, I don't think what Sam did was that wrong. It's a very civil debate, and I think it's helpful for posters to see that kinda debate out in the open.

I am with NT on this one, more for the fact that it makes you all really look bad to be arguing with one another in the same forum. Those kind of debates should be in the mod forum or in PM.
It is tough to hold your tongue (I know I have been guilty of this), but I think it looks especially bad that it is a mod in the same forum. If OOT mods are going to effectively enforce a ton of little rules, you need to be consistent and on the same front, or at least appear to be so in OOT. |

Gild,
I wouldn't call that an argument, I would call it a debate and I don't think those are terms that should be used interchangably. |

[/ QUOTE ] This is my point exactly. It's not like my feelings are that easily hurt, it just creates division and encourages people to bitch endlessly. |
