Flopped NFD + weak straight draw 3-way
UTG+1 is a pretty bad regular. In the hand I had a feeling that he could definitely have the idea to slowplay a set.
How bad is this? My feeling on the turn was that both people would call, as they did. And in that case my EV isn't that bad with the pot already at $80. So if they don't have a bunch of blockers this is more less +- 0 equity play. On the other hand, only one person might call and I really don't want to go HU against someone ... should I have tried for some kind of c/c line instead? Do you ever see them both folding? Anyway, the whole table agreed that I was an ultra-donk and that this site is rigged etc etc, also a guy bemoanded that he folded KKxx against me earlier on a TJQK board with a flush on it lol. Is it that bad? I thought it was ok Full Tilt Poker Pot Limit Omaha Ring game Blinds: $0.50/$1 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $100.40 UTG+1: $162 CO: $101.80 Button: $185.65 roggles: $125.95 BB: $18.70 Pre-flop: (6 players) roggles is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG calls, UTG+1 raises to $4, CO calls, Button folds, roggles calls, BB calls, UTG calls. I have been losing a lot lately. I don't know if it matters for my image or not. |

Re: Flopped NFD + weak straight draw 3-way
Do you mean utg might have a set? I think you are getting called by some worse flush draws that gives you probably enough equity.

Re: Flopped NFD + weak straight draw 3-way
Yeah sorry, I meant UTG, not UTG+1 in what I said above. UTG+1 was unknown to me

Zero reason to take control of this hand on the flop with your hand... Just check/call the whole way IMO.

Re: Flopped NFD + weak straight draw 3-way
potting the flop here looks like spew 5 ways first to act.

What does that mean? It makes you want to vomit?

Re: Flopped NFD + weak straight draw 3-way
spew means that it is a big money losing proposition. you have little chance of folding out 4 players and you may be priced out of your draw by the actions of others.

Re: Flopped NFD + weak straight draw 3-way
I like all lines that dont involve folding flop, and since our outs often will make villians next best hand. (booth str8 and flush) c/r lp bet is bad. This is a spot we prefer the pot to be multiway so we dont get it in vs sets HU.
Weakleading is somewhat sexy, even we build pot oop. |

looks good too me.
fwiw I would prefer having a 9 to have TP instead of the 8 to the gutshot. |
