Sell off however many of the acres cover what they think he owes along the edge of his property. What's he going to do? Murder the new owners?

He probably doesn't have a mortgage if he is living off the grid with solar power.

Sounds like the only thing he has done so far is not shown up for court for the initial proceedings. Probably he may not even be charged with a felony at this point, which means that there is only a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant out for his arrest, at worst. And they're not gonna SWAT team him for that. It will take quite a while for this to escalate, and there will be judicial oversight, much different than Randy Weaver and his felony charges.
