JJ, UTG, 2nd hour of $3R

Flop: (t3375) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, MP1 bets t4800, Hero raises to t10775. How's this look? Mostly I'm unsure about the flop play. I was thinking C/R push once the flop went down, but did he bet enough that I needed to change my play? Or is it still the play? edit: But I suppose PF could be a leak as well. Open to suggestions. 2nd edit: Read was that the guy was solid. |

Re: JJ, UTG, 2nd hour of $3R
Seems pretty standard, would you rather have him check behind you and take a free turn card? What's your play on the turn if it misses your draw? I'm leaning more towards opening the flop with a push. You have some FE here, and you have some outs, a fold by him isn't bad, but I'm not mad if he calls.

Re: JJ, UTG, 2nd hour of $3R
Meh you have 11 outs here like always. Seems fine though.
Lol I know that sounds wrong. But you occasionally have the best hand. |

Re: JJ, UTG, 2nd hour of $3R
ok well that's kinda what i was asking -- is it right to willingly take 10/11 outs (are you giving me the backdoor flush out?) twice on the flop with only a 3,000 chip overlay?

Re: JJ, UTG, 2nd hour of $3R
I certainly don't mind your line, as you're getting more value out of your hand/draw when he bets . . . however, what's your plan if he checks?

you occasionally have the best hand. [/ QUOTE ] do you think so? are you attributing this to the "amazingly bad player that has managed to fly under our radar" factor? because between the preflop reraise from a solid player and the flop overbet on a draw heavy board, that sure looks like an overpair like 90% of the time. |

Re: JJ, UTG, 2nd hour of $3R
i put him on QQ - AA ot Ak hearts. If he made his trip he decide to slow play it. Your push is good enough. You have 10 outs if your beating now or you might be ahead and guy had Ak. |
