AA in capped pot, what\'s your line on scary flop?
FTP .5/1, 3rd hand at table, unknown villain raises UTG, I 3bet AA MP1, folds to villain who caps. Range for villain probably QQ+, maybe AK sound right?
Flop KQ2 rainbow. Villain bets, I raise cuz I have AA, he 3’s, I cap thinking if he donks turn I call down. He donks turn 9 and river K, I call down. I’m quite sure this was bad, I think it should have gone either: 1)call down from flop bet, he most likely has one of the 2 KK combos, 2 QQ combos, or one AA combo, and I have a one in 5 chance of a split. But there’s enough chance he has AK or JJ to make it worth calling down, and if he does I don’t want to raise him out. 2)Raise flop, call a 3 bet (or cap?), and fold to turn donk, I don’t have the odds to call down from there. 3)Other?

[/ QUOTE ] Even if he caps hands worse than what we would cap, how many of those does he bet/3bet the flop with and how many of those are we beating? What do you guys put him on, nines? Call down from flop 3bet.

I think we have to be careful giving an unknown too many characteristics. He's unknown, we don't know what he caps with pre-flop, we don't know how good he is at reading an overpair to the board if he holds tptk or 2ndptk.
