AKo makes TPTK with nut flush draw and I get resistance
Basically I hate the way I played this post flop.
The guy wasn't pulling moves, I don't think I had any FE by pushing, but regardless, do you think a push on the flop is in order? I am open to suggestions on all streets.. although if it's an easy flop push then just say so. Re: AKo makes TPTK with nut flush draw and I get resistance
I don't think this is a flop push. What can he call you with that you beat? His likely holdings are going to be a set, AJ or a made flush. I suspect the flush is least likely, it's hard to imagine what he called with preflop, suited connector doesn't make a lot of sense.
I would therefore call his flop bet and pass the turn probably. You don't have implied odds to draw to your flush on the turn, and I don't think you're ahead of much here. Likewise, I'm passing the river. To call the turn/river bet, or to push the flop, you have to be able to put him on a hand like AQ. AQ with the club is basically the only hand you can put him on that you beat. I think this is a hand where a laydown is required. |

Yeah it looks like you are behind here, but the question is WHERE do you lay it down? I feel like folding the turn is bad but I also feel like CALLING THE TURN AND THEN FOLDING THE RIVER is also bad. I can't decide which is worse. Yeah, idk. I think I'd call turn and fold river.

My thinking is that if you're behind on the turn, you have to pass. You don't have implied odds to outdraw him anymore, he only has $100 left, and he's likely not going to even put that in if the river comes a fourth club.

He had AA, so I don't feel that bad about getting stacked... if he calls with AA and that flop comes I'm just gonna lose a lot of money no matter what I feel.

Call turn fold river is awful.
I would usually push the flop. |
