200nl: QQ in 3-bet pot OOP
I really hate these spots.
original raiser is 28/14 over 28 hands, so not much data. SB who calls both the raise and the 3-bet is 17/12 over 800 hands. Full Tilt Poker, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 9 Players LegoPoker Hand History Converter Hero (BB): $200 UTG: $74 UTG+1: $34.95 UTG+2: $246.30 MP1: $80.10 MP2: $519.65 CO: $232.60 BTN: $199.60 SB: $214.75 Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB) UTG calls $2, UTG+1 calls $2, UTG+2 raises to $10, MP1 calls $10, 3 folds, SB calls $9, Hero raises to $44, 2 folds, UTG+2 calls $34, MP1 folds, SB calls $34 Flop: ($146) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players) SB checks, Hero... |

Any number of cards are terrible on the turn if you're not already behind. If SB leads then your in a tough spot too. I'm not ready to give up here so I'd just fire $100 and call the shove if it comes and be thankful you weren't deeper. |

You have a PSB behind. Easy push.

Re: 200nl: QQ in 3-bet pot OOP
you're going to let 2 people in a huge 3/bet draw to their 2 outs/6 outs for free?
your hand is pretty transparent is it not? It's not like you were 3/b from the btn, but rather 3/b from the bb. which means more often than not, this is JJ+ at min. is somebody really going to bet the flop here who doesn't have you beat anyways? |

[/ QUOTE ] correct that our hand is somewhat transparent going to the flop, so who is paying us off w/ a worse hand? its not so transparent when you check the flop though. think about it. |

Re: 200nl: QQ in 3-bet pot OOP
AA and KK seem unlikely hands for either villain given that these hands probably would have reraised to isolate rather than play a 3way pot.
That said, you've 3bet w/ QQ, the flop contains neither an A nor a K, and you've got a psb left behind. I'm definitely looking to get it all in on this flop...I'd push unless I was pretty sure that UTG+2 would fire if checked to, in which case I'd crai. People are afraid to fire w/ air in 3bet pots though so you might not get a bet out of him unless he's got a hand like JJ or TT (or something thats killings, in which case there is nothing to be done except be thankful you didn't lose more). |
