nl 10: I outplay a floater
villain is a multitabling reg, who habitually floats. He is 20/13, with a flop af of 1.53 but a turn af of 2.2.
There is a lot of metagame going into this hand as we are playing on several tables at once together. We are both playing back at each other. Is this spewy, or am I recognizing the situation correctly? Re: nl 10: I outplay a floater
I am not really sure what you mean. Does he check/call flop and donk turn >40% of the time? Usually when I see this line it is something that my opponent thinks is a medium strength hand that he thinks is best. It could be as good a hand as KQ down to bottom pair. Or he is bluffing with a "good" hand pf like AQ or 22 that missed. Or it is a draw of some sort. My opponent really has to do this a lot for me to put him on air. The river is pure spew, if he folds he was on a draw and you had the best hand.

Re: nl 10: I outplay a floater
another hand with villain:
Full Tilt Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) Hand History converter Courtesy of PokerZion.com SB ($5.50) BB ($30.40) UTG ($3) MP ($13.45) Hero ($10.55) Button ($12.60) Preflop: Hero is CO with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.35, Button calls $0.35, 2 folds. Button has Ac Qc (one pair, kings). Outcome: Hero wins $4.05. he did this a couple times, smooth calling the flop and trying to take it away on the turn |

Re: nl 10: I outplay a floater
Hand 1 I dont like. Hand 2 is alot different. The fact that another K hit makes it less likely he has one in his hand and someone who likes to float alot can do this with a wide range. Wouldve been funny if the J hit on the river huh. My question to you is what do you do if an A hits on the river and he fires again?

Re: nl 10: I outplay a floater
i guess you can tell he folded by the op's title. just want a spewyness rating
fwiw we were talking earlier about how we were both nits, and i dont think he'd seen me take such a strong line before. I think theres a decent chance i might have gotten him to fold a better hand, like a pair 1010-qq |
