Default 25 NL - JJ on dry flop.

Villain is 53/28/3 over 100 hands. I have not really seen them get out of line on any street, though. Lots of raising and betting, but nothing crazy.

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $30.55
BB: $6.40
UTG: $24.90
Hero (CO): $47.40
BTN: $13.45

Preflop: Hero is dealt (5 Players)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $1.50, BTN calls $1.50, 2 folds

Flop: ($3.35) (2 Players)
Hero bets $2.00, BTN calls $2.00

Turn: ($7.35) (2 Players)
Hero ???

I would c/c turn and bet the river, he might bet a medium pair/A2/A4 (and kings, but i think he would raise a K at the flop usually).

Is there a reason why you're making it 6BB preflop?

Def. check-call turn.

Why would you bet this flop? Your not folding a K, so check to get some value from 88 and alike.

Yeah I thought about this too. But you may get more value from 88 by betting, because I think it's often calling the flop bet.

Plus, if you only bet flops like these for value with a king or better, then you have to cut way back on how often you c-bet when you miss, because you won't have a king here all that often. That may matter more at higher stakes, though.

I agree. I'd fire at an Ace high flop but a King high flop, dry flop is a good flop to check on.

Because I'm c-betting this flop 100% of the time when I miss, so I have to also bet it when I have something.
