I've been playing a while, but just started to look into my PT numbers. In most of my games, I am about a 5 BB/100 hand player so far, but I found it shocking that my results at one level were WAY different. At the 6 person $1/$2 NL level over 25K hands I'm showing a profit of 21.5 BB/100? Now I know 25K hands isn't a HUGE sample, but it's not a small sample either.
I'm not posting this to brag...really, I just want to know how crazy this is. What do these types of results mean over 25K hands? I know these results can't hold up over a larger sample of hands, but isn't 25K hands enough to start making some safe assumpions about future expectations? If so, what future expectations can safely be made? Thanks in advance. |

For some reason I think you're posting this to brag.

25k hands is not even close enough to a reasonable sample size to determine your "true winrate." That being said, winrate is an inherently flawed statistic.

Ok, can we just address the question of what this could mean for future expectations? There is no way to keep up this type of return.
