Re: The 16s on PokerStars
Way too many regulars.
15 ROI, but not a massive sample. |

Re: The 16s on PokerStars
Yes, alot of regulars multitabling but lower rake (6,67% vs 8,33%). Try it out. ROI 10-12% is good.

Re: The 16s on PokerStars
Yeah, the low rake attracts a lot of grinding regs. You can't avoid them completely, but there are always lots of tables running, so if I see too many regs setting up sets, I just wait a few minutes. I've done about 1000 w/ ROI of 12-13% which is lower ROI but better in terms of $/hr than I was making at the $6.50s. Oh - and there are still plenty of awful players - you just might have to fight the other sharks for their flesh. GL.

Re: The 16s on PokerStars
lots of regs but a lot of them are also not that great considering they're playing 16's, myself included. just like moving up in any other level in any other form of poker, it gets a little more difficult as you move up.

[/ QUOTE ] I agree completely (and MY self included, too). The $16s are a little tougher, but assuming you are a winner at the $6.50s, I don't think you'll find the $16s THAT much harder, so your $/hr will probably increase if you move up and can handle the change in stakes psychologically. Maybe add in 1 table at a time while you continue to do the $6.50s? P.S. Sippin_criss, you've put in a TON of time at the $16s (and congrats on your results)- any plans to move up? |

Re: The 16s on PokerStars
I did move up to the $27s last year, then I switched to cash and lived in busto-land for quite some time... now I'll consider moving up if I can get good and also get out of busto-land.
