Introducing the 2007 POG Death Pool

I have decided to undertake this effort to mod a game that will outlast the boat game itself. Welcome to the POG Death Pool for 2007!

For those who are unfamiliar I will lay down the rules as I propose them.

Comments and Suggestions go in this thread, there will be a separate submission thread.

Every one who chooses to submit may choose fifteen people who will slip the mortal coil in the year to come. They have until midnight on December 31st to submit entries. If any of your picks dies before that point, you may make a replacement.

Points will accumulate based on the age of the person you choose, subtracted from one hundred. So someone who dies at age 97 is worth 3 points, a 22 year old is worth 78 points. For your entry to be valid this person must be the subject of an obituary in a major national or international publication (Time, Newsweek, Entertainment Weekly, NY Times etc). I am the one and final arbitor of what is a legitimate entry, but I will let you know before the beginning of the contest if your choice has been nixed.

No one who is currently subject to a fixed execution date is allowed.

This thread is to gauge interest and get some suggestions on refining the rules. I will be out for a few hours, but I will be back this afternoon.
