Best way to proceed? [/ QUOTE ] fold preflop. Here you might just have to check....basically the only thing you can do is move all in...you do, he'll call and you'll lose |

why the hell would you do this OOP without any serious reads?

i dont think its a bad squeeze type play if the stacks were shallower.
since the chip leader is pretty loose i guess i would push the flop and hope he does not have an ace. |

Uh, yeah, given that you got here, I would just shove, hope he folds TT or something like that, but

I knew 1st raiser was loose, i knew reraiser was loose and could have alot of hands and he was chip leader so that was good enough for me

[/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] Definately push the flop. You may take it if no one has an ace or set and you are 23% against AK with a pair and backdoor. Awful place to make a play preflop. Early position raise and a reraise could easily mean someone has AK, QQ+ and they probably aren't folding. Need more of a read than loose players. Also, 100r is not a good tournament for this. It would work better in a live tournament or big Sunday online tournament where people are afraid to risk their tournament lives. I know this made you feel clever, but straight steals, resteals, and squeeze plays are much easier. |

I think the stacks being deep is what makes it so good b/c no one ever thinks this is a squeeze out of SB vs two EP guys.
What does pushing the flop represent? Does anyone give u credit for AK or AA with a push? |

from the way you described it the first guy would open any two and the big stack would call him fairly light.
Hence, he might have something like KQ 77- 10 10. so you push. i think checking is bad because he might stab at the pot with an ace showing even if he does not have one. if i was the button in this hand and you pushed i probably would not give you credit for a monster but there are a bunch of hands i just cant call the push with. |

i'd rewind and ask myself why i'm putting in so much of my stack against shown strength w/ 8 high suited.
