Unbelievable this guy went from IU head coach to Miami in, what, five years? I like it though, but I think anyone taking that job is just getting hired to be fired in 3-4 years anyway.

My point was more that I think Miami has a high likelihood to tank. They aren't very good to begin with and I believe they have a pretty old roster for such a mediocre team.
Though if Culpepper returned to form they could hold that decline off easier for a year or two. |

how could you expect him to compete at all at IU? recycled? old?
He's been a very successful coordinator in the NFL. |

I don't understand this. He basically had the best player at his fingertips for a few years. A dope FB. A dope TE. A nice line. And by all accounts to good to decent QB's. Home boy seems overrated to me. I don't see their O missing a beat next year barring any injuries.

how could you expect him to compete at all at IU? recycled? old? [/ QUOTE ] Because the man he replaced, Bill Mallory, competed extremely well at IU. Six bowl games, two Heisman finalists, and countless players who went on to the NFL. Cameron came in and was handed the best player in the history of the program, Antwaan Randle El. Not one bowl game to show for the entire four year run. Great offensive coordinator, but horrible isn't a strong enough word to describe the defenses he was responsible for. [ QUOTE ] He's been a very successful coordinator in the NFL. [/ QUOTE ] The offense should improve, but I hope the Dolphins have someone with a clue running the difference. Cam sure isn't the answer. |
