Bad Turn vs. Bad Player - 5/10NL 6max
Villain (BB) is pretty bad, calls alot - but he does have SOME concept of what he's doing postflop. 50/10/1.5 over 100 hands or so.
No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $5/$10 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $970 UTG+1: $592.35 CO: $994 Button: $960 Hero: $1292.25 BB: $2919.25 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 folds, CO raises to $35, Button folds, Hero calls, BB calls. Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($105, 3 players) Hero checks, BB bets $105, CO folds, Hero raises to $380, BB calls. Turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($865, 2 players) Hero ??? $865 in the pot, $877 left in my stack, he covers. |

Re: Bad Turn vs. Bad Player - 5/10NL 6max
I would bet an amount that would maximize the chances that you will get bluffed as if he has a flush you are always paying off given stack sizes and pot size but you do not want to give a free card if he has draws, and if he has nothing then you obviously want his money in so I would say 410.

push and pray. [/ QUOTE ] it's not a prayer, with the off chance he may have a flush, you still got 10 outs, i'm really worried about the straight though.. but you still have 10 outs and no way you are folding IMO |

Re: Bad Turn vs. Bad Player - 5/10NL 6max
Lead flop. With that giant flop c/r you're lucky you didnt lose his overpair.
Anyway, as played, when he calls your big c/r, he doesnt put you on flush draw, so you can bet the rest on turn and he's probably calling. Just pause the right amount of time, and get all in on turn. |
