Default Magnetic money clip help?

hey all, bought a money clip today (2 actually),

money clip

my question - even though there's supposed to be a 'protective layer' to keep credit cards from being demagnetized, is that something i should worry about? FWIW i bought them as gifts for some acquaintances of mine.

so, has anyone got any experiences with these types of money clips? worth the risk or no?

edited to say: i should probably call it a front pocket wallet with money clip

Best money clip (and its non-magnetic) on the market.
Steinhausen Money Grip

Hard to see the back side in this picture, but its a lever-action grip for your bills.

edit:
oh...and the magnetic clips won't ruin credit cards.

thats pretty cool, it might even convert from bi-folds, but should i return the one that i bought? will it erase the info on friends credit cards after a few weeks, or am i fairly safe from retribution?

hahaha, ok i actually remember that clip. its now a toss up between that and the one pocketjokers recommended, for when i actually convert to money clips (it cant be too far away).

thanks for the answer. i will forward any complaints from the recipients to you and the fossil corporation
