Anyone ever buy the PokerRoom.com chips?
I don't care for the pokerroom logo on them really but they look nice, like Chipcos but cheaper per chip, anyone have these and if so, what are they like/how'd you like em?
Thanks guys. Link: https://www.pokerroom.com/shop/viewP...p;categoryID=6 |

They ARE chipcos, but seemed expensive for what basically amounts to an ad for someone else's games that would be all over yours.

If you check out chiptalk.net's market place forum, you'll notice a lot of merchants selling ceramic chips. There are many many designs to choose from, and you can find them at as low as $.65 per chip.

Re: Anyone ever buy the PokerRoom.com chips?
Those are definitely Chipcos, the white ring gives it away.
As far as .65 cents a chip, those are NJ or BR Pro ceramics. Chipcos are around .95 cents a chip but that is before art and setup fees, which range from $200 to $500 or more depending on what you order. The exception are the WSOP replicas which seem to go for a bit less, but that was a large group buy so the setup and art fees were really spread out. |
