College Football Schedules 2008
As we wind down towards the end of the season (crazy one at that), lets take a look at some of the OOC games/important games next season-
2008 season- -UF opens with Hawaii and then Miami the game after. While its not the Miami of old, UF/Miami is still a rivalry game. We also play FSU again. We also have LSU in the swamp, though not sure what it'll be like with all the changes/losses for LSU. -USC has a very competitive schedule. They open with Virginia on Aug 30th, then play tOSU on the 13th of Sept at home. Should be a great game, both have been powerhouses the past few years, both recruit very well and both have bright futures in 2008. I know that WVU plays Auburn as well. If White/Slaton are back (I doubt), it would be a great matchup. These are all I know at the top of my head. Post some of your favorite team's scheduls next year, lets hear them. |

Isn't Slaton's backup like the greatest thing since sliced bread?

Re: College Football Schedules 2008
Michigan: Toledo, Miami(OH), At Notre Dame, TBD. Puke. Remind me why we needed to add 30 years to the Notre Dame deal? If we're going with the 1 "power" 3 cupcakes route, we could at least vary the power school for variety's sake.

That could be the power school you need. |

Rutgers: North Carolina, @Navy, Army, Buffalo (or other MAC), TBD-FCS. Blah. When is this program going to step up?
In 2010 they start a 7 years series with Notre Dame, but at this point that's hardly something to brag about. |

Obviously Michigan will be the favorites but it seems less likely they will be 40 point blowouts. Even after they woke up this year and got good again Michigan had a very touch struggle with EMU. Eastern only trailed 16-14 in the 2nd half. And there was the scare vs. Ball State last year as well. LOL at Michigan fans complaining about playing those MAC 'cupcakes' after you look at some of the lower tier teams in their own freaking conference and when they ALREADY struggle against the likes of Appy, EMU and Ball St. It's not like they're playing an 0-11 Northern Colorado team or something. TOL and MIA can actually play ball. |

The VT Athletic director must be eating his Wheaties. He's got LSU this year, Nebraska next year and a home & home with OSU in a couple years.
