cMeWinS on FTP (bboy_ on 2+2) Scam Thread
cMeWinS on FTP, bboy_ here on the forums is a scammer.
on 10/03 I agreed via AIM to do a transfer with him from FTP to stars. I have heard good things about him so I agreed to send first. The amount of $893 was shipped to his FTP account... he then proceeded to log off aim and block me, and he will not respond to PMs. He recently won the 16k gtd on FTP so I know he isn't busto and doesn't need the cash. I offer this thread for him to explain himself and to warn others of his actions.

This is why I'd never do a transfer. One way or another Bboy would be giving me my money back even if it cost me twice as much to get it back. Sad that people are willing to lose their self-respect over chump change.
The legal option was a good suggestion but is really limit by geography. I don't think he would have much luck with criminal law but would be better off pursuing this in small claims court. It is cheap, it is easy and if nothing else getting a judgement against bboy would cause him enough issues in life that even if the judgement was never enforced at least you'd have that satisfaction.
