Ivey ...... why doesnt he have his own site?
Lets say he isnt part of ftp. Ivey seems like the most marketable poker player at this point in time. I can understand that he doesnt have many tourney titles and such. If u just bumped up the cash games that he regularly plays in and add in the rumors and truths that we 2+2ers know about, I think people would luv to play at a site he markets. discuss.........

Re: Ivey ...... why doesnt he have his own site?
Too much effort he'd have to exert. Frankly from what I've heard he doesn't sound like he gives a damn about any of the growth in poker or marketing taking place. He plays at FTP cuz they do all the work for him and he just plays. I guess he could maybe get some cronies to do the leg work setting up a site for him, but it still would require significantly more attention paid to it by him than he'd like to deal with. I agree that he is the most marketable, but he isn't the most accessible if that makes any sense.

Re: Ivey ...... why doesnt he have his own site?
There is a spectrum of how much people crave attention. Among poker players Brandi was a 10 for a while, DN is a 9, Sebok is like a 7. Ivey is about a 0. David Oppenheim is like -.05. |

Re: Ivey ...... why doesnt he have his own site?
Because he has no personality and he doesn't care about having a website anyway. He has a life.
