Help me find chips $$ For you If you find the right one.
I am looking for some nice real clay chips.
I see chips that say they are clay for like $300 for 500pc. But they look just like ordinary chips. I am looking for a cheap really nice set of real clay chips. Also If available help me find a nice table, I want it to be sturdy. |

Re: Help me find chips $$ For you If you find the right one.
I would suggest "Soprano" chips. They are the style of chips used on the TV show the Sopranos. They are real clay, not very expensive and look pretty decent. They are great real clay chips for a casual home game.
My personal chips are 14g tri colored suited claytec chips. They are clay chips with an unnoticeable metal insert .... they are really heavy and solid ..... I have a thread up trying to find where I can get more of them. It seems they are out of print ..... the only similar ones available are the plastic 11.5g type. They look just as nice, but have the plastic feel to them and the pinging sound of the metal insert rings through. The closest I can find to what I have are the 14g tri colored Ace/King model chips. They seem to be the same as mine except they have the Ace/King graphics instead of the suited graphics. |

Re: Help me find chips $$ For you If you find the right one.
bottom line, you're probably not going to find nice clay chips for $0.60 apiece, which is what you're implying. expect to spend slightly under $1 apiece if you want real, casino-quality CLAY chips.
Also, see www.chiptalk.net for anything you ever wanted to know about poker chips, and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more beyond that. they also have a member-to-member sales section where you might be able to find a discounted set. |

Re: Help me find chips $$ For you If you find the right one.
Don't know if you've found a good set yet but there is a seller on ebay selling 1000pc sets of very nice 15g Casino Royale replica chips for 200 quid ($400). The only draw back is that they made a T1000 set and a T1,000,000 set so if you play T10,000 like most people you have to do without 1k chips. But hey are customisable so an make sure you buy enough 500's to make up the difference.
