I am still undecided on the Illini
they are -3, which is somewhat shocking it's tough to imagine them playing an under39.5 game then again, tough to imagine Syracuse over 39.5 Right now, I'm 50/50 this one is going to take some serious evaluation

Miss St/Tulane u 40

Miss St only averaged 13.9 ppg last year! Last year, Miss St beat Tulane 21-14 with a total yardage loss of 225 to 293. Tulane averaged 21 ppg last year and was dead last in CUSA in rushing offense. Mississippi St brings back a solid corps of defenders from last year's team and the defense has looked above average in its two games this year. Expect the Bulldogs D to have their way with the Tulane offense that replaces 3 o-linemen. (BTW-why did Tulane schedule @ Miss St, @ LSU, and @ Auburn for non-conf....yikes!---lots of Tulane under bets here.) Tulane has to replace some linebackers but the d-line returns in depth and experience. I see a 20-10 game.
