most likely you're 38%-44%-18% (vs. QQ and JJ); if it's a smaller ace and a pair, you're still 38% to win vs 53% for the pair, and 9% for the smaller ace. you're getting the chance to double up while only risking half your stack. you're getting more than 2-1 (each player's push + blinds and antes). it's a clear call.
