Final Table Bubble Hand
So we've made a mad dash from 2 full tables to 2 tables of 5 handed play, ready to merge to the final table. Yes we're in the money. I'm the shorty but feel my stack still retains some fold equity, albeit not for long. This is the 2nd hand dealt while being 5 handed. The first went similarly with a raise and an all in reraise that won the pot preflop. I was not involved in that hand.
Is there anybody who doesn't get all the chips in here and if so what's your line to avoid it? Also curious to hear who likes a stop n go better than a preflop push here. easy push [/ QUOTE ] I agree. Was wondering if there would be any dissenters, or even some stop n go fans but apparently not. |

Re: Final Table Bubble Hand
this is no easy push. UTG min raises you can just call i dont like this but still an option. I myself would fold. your not beating that many hands and you can pick a better a spot. you have an M of a litte over 5. To me this means that you still have some time. granted its 5 handed still I believe you can pick a better spot.

Re: Final Table Bubble Hand
Call me crazy but I do not see folding as an option whatsoever. I don't dislike a stop n go, but I prefer a push. Anybody else?

...your not beating that many hands... [/ QUOTE ] this is funny. you are beating ALL but 5 possible hands. 169 possible hands. 5 hands>99>163 hands. even narrowing his range down to top 10% (rather than 100%), you are ahead of more hands than you are behind. |

Re: Final Table Bubble Hand
I think this is a VERY clear push. Reasons -
* FT button - people tighten up. * 5 handed and you have 99 = big hand * your are SS and need chips to make a run once you get to the FT. * You are mostly likely up against two big cards, and could very well be against 88 - 22. Take the coin flip and hope you get lucky! Of course, now that I see he had AA - WTF were you thinking?? FOLD! :-) |

Re: Final Table Bubble Hand
push unless you've seen him minraise with a monster before. Stopngo is bad because you still have a lot of fold equity. He could very easily have QT or something and would fold to a push. Or he could have Q4 and you'd want to get the money in preflop. Push.
